MembershipThe members of Les Dames d’Escoffier International are women of achievement in the culinary, wine and fine beverage, hospitality and related professions. Our members are chefs and restauranteurs, cookbook authors and editors, food journalists and historians, wine and fine beverage professionals, food and beverage publicists, culinary educators, test kitchen professionals, food stylists and photographers, hospitality executives, chocolatiers, bakers, food scientists, dieticians, lawyers, food/beverage merchants and brokers, manufacturers and purveyors. The International Organization is comprised of 26 chapters in the U.S. and Canada, and Le Donne del Vino, Italy. The Chapters are Atlanta; Austin; Boston; British Columbia; Charleston; Chicago; Cleveland; Colorado; Dallas; Hawaii; Houston; Kansas City; Los Angeles/Orange County; Minneapolis/St. Paul; Monterey Bay, New York; Ontario, Palm Springs, Philadelphia; Phoenix; San Antonio; San Diego; San Francisco; Seattle; South Florida; and Washington, D.C. Membership in LDEI and its Chapters is by invitation only. If you are interested in becoming a member of the NY Chapter, please

we will invite you to attend our programs/events. Members shall consist
of women who shall have achieved distinction and high professional stature,
are knowledgeable in the areas of food and wine with a minimum of five
years professional experience, agree with the purposes of the Society
and are willing to abide by these Bylaws and the Bylaws of the Society
and the affiliation charter. A prospective member may be proposed by any
member of the Chapter in good standing and must be seconded by one other
member of the chapter. |
