Fundraising

The Fundraising activities of the New York Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier provide monies for the Chapter’s Philanthopic Programs which include Scholarship and Green Tables – The Growing Connection, and community outreach programs.

Our Fundraising Events are planned with the intent to promote the understanding, appreciation and knowledge of food, wine and the arts of the table and are open to our members and the public. LDNY is a 501(c)3 organization and graciously accepts contributions, donations, bequests, and grants from individuals and board-approved commercial organizations in the fields of food, culinary equipment/accessories, wines/beverages, hospitality, and restaurants.

Our most recent Fundraiser was held in October of 2007, Abbondanza! (add web site link here) This hugely successful evening was held at The Rainbow Room at Rockafeller Center and celebrated the achievements and accomplishments of NY Dame Lidia Bastianich and created The Make a Difference Scholarship Fund.

Past Fundraisers include The Festival of Sweets and New York Cooks.
