About UsThe members of the New York Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International are women of achievement in the culinary, wine and fine beverage, hospitality and related professions. Our members are chefs and restaurateurs, cookbook authors and editors, food journalists and historians, wine and fine beverage professionals, food and beverage publicists, culinary educators, test kitchen professionals, food stylists and photographers, hospitality executives, chocolatiers, bakers, food scientists, dieticians, food/beverage merchants and brokers, manufacturers and purveyors. The members of the NY Chapter reside or work within a radius extending 100 miles from Times Square in New York City. The mission of LDE-NY is to promote women in these fields. We have a strong successful scholarship program with mentoring available for our scholarship recipients. We also support philanthropic projects such as the Growing Connection at the U.N., and the education of the public in the issue of transfats.
